Gravatar allows you to customize your profile URL by changing your username. But that’s not the only way! You can also claim a new custom domain to use as your profile URL, as described in this guide.
ℹ️ Please Note: This feature is for registering a new custom domain directly through Gravatar. It is not currently possible to connect a domain that you already own and have registered with another provider to your Gravatar profile.
How to claim your domain
When you login into your account you must see a notice offering you a custom domain.

The suggested custom domain is a is based on your display name, but you will be able to customize it further after clicking the “Claim domain” link.
ℹ️ At the moment, we offer the following domain extensions (also called TLDs):
.bio .fyi .life .ninja .rocks
.contact .guru .link .place .social
.cool .info .live .pro .world
Pricing
Currently, Gravatar is offering all domains free for the first year. You will see renewal details during the checkout process after clicking the “Claim domain” link. When you decide to renew your domain, you will automatically be shown the payment methods available in your region during checkout.
